From The Pastor's
Heart...
It's once again the month to acknowledge, be
thankful for, remember (if they're gone), and
love our Moms; it's Mother's Day month! Of
course, love for Momma goes on everyday
throughout the year. I'm just concerned
that she may not hear that enough from her
children and shown to her enough earlier.
One thing God taught me after my Momma was gone
- wished there had been some more hugs from me
to her, some more "I love yous" from
me to her, some more chores done by me for her
that she couldn't do herself no longer; some
more time given by me to her, just to sit and
listen, talk and share about the past. One
more touch of the hand, one more kiss for her,
one more "see you later Momma", one
more "Mom, you mean so much to me"! (I
cry as I write this because I know now, its
never enough after they're gone). So
Momma, I said this, asking the Lord of Heaven to
let you know, you're still loved and missed by
your "baby boy"! And, those of
you reading this; if Momma is still around, do
all these things for her, to her, with her, as
often as you can, as much as you can and with as
much love and desire as you can; because one
day, the one who gave you life, will be gone
(for awhile if she went to Heaven; forever if
she did not)! As much as you do it, it
will still not have enough, when she leaves.
Bless you Mommas! You're the next greatest
love known by a person - after God's love!
Stay Faithful to HIM, His WORD, His House and
His people. I love you and I'll see you at
His
House!
