Dear
Brother and Sisters in the Lord Jesus;
February
is known by a couple of things (absent of
anyone's birthday); Valentine's Day and Ground
Hog Day! One is about Love, the other is about
Hope.
Valentines Day is all about that special person
in our life in whom, the meaning of love, really
defines itself to us. Jesus is supposed to be
that special person in our lives, without whom,
we would not understand love. And that is from
two sources. Our Father in heaven who
loved us so much, He gave. And Jesus who loved
us so much, He gave. Both gave their love from
the physical, spiritual and emotional
standpoint. Plus all the emotions that are
wrapped up in the sacrificial giving. I suppose
the old saying is true; "it's not real love
until it's giving away!" When is the last
time you gave love away (to anyone) without
expecting any return?
Ground Hog Day is about "hope" for the
early arrival of Spring or that new beginning,
fresh start. With Jesus, that's what our life in
Him is about. It's a new, fresh start; new
birth, new beginning, new life, new desires, new
direction, new speech, new thoughts, new action
and reaction!
So, this month (and every month), consider Jesus
as your all in all because, He Is.
This past month Becky Snyder rededicated her
life to Jesus and joined the church. Cody Gann,
rededicated his life to the lord though the
youth meetings. Also, Brianna Thomas was saved
in the youth meetings and will be baptized.
Brent, Tonya and the girls have given themselves
to go to the Open Door Mission in Georgia (Kenny
G's shelter) to pastor there. Pray for all these
that God will bless and use them. Love them and
get to know them.
Stay faithful, stay in the prayer closet, stay
in the Word and see you at His House. Invite
someone to meet you there!
I love you all,
Rodney
